Hyde Hotel is often praised for its central location, making it easy to explore Galway City and convenient to the train station. Guests appreciate the spacious rooms and comfortable beds, as well as the stylish bar and dining area, which some describe as having an Alice in Wonderland vibe. While most find the rooms appealing, a few guests have mentioned that some rooms appear a little outdated compared to the pictures. Nevertheless, the hotel's proximity to shops and the main square remains a highlight for many.

The location proved convenient to many key areas.
The bathroom fan made a terrible racket. A receptionist stated the fan would shut off at 11 p.m., but it did not. Maintenance seemingly did not check it. I found this disregard for my comfort disappointing.
